This little guide should get you going. EseeCloud allows these 3 usage modes:

Remote viewing setup via router: To enable remote viewing, connect the camera’s WiFi to the router. The video footage can be stored either on the camera’s SD card or in the Cloud.

Direct connection via mobile phone: For local direct connection mode, connect your mobile phone’s WiFi to the camera. In this mode, video storage is limited to the camera’s SD card only.

Pairing with a wireless NVR (WiFi/4G Gateway, NVR, Touch screen): When paired with a wireless NVR, video footage is stored on the NVR. Additionally, you can remotely view and configure the camera using your mobile phone through the wireless NVR connection.

    1. Installation
      Download the Software: Download the software from the official website or use a CD that the camera came with. Make sure that what you download is compactable with your operating system (Windows or MacOS).

      Install Application: Open the downloaded file and follow on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. This may include setting the installation directory and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
    2. Set up your account
      Open the EseeCloud application in your computer by double-clicking on the icon.
      Create an account: New Users, please register for an account. Fill in the required data—email address and password—then verify your account by email if required.
    3. Add your camera
      Ensure that your network is connected to the IP Camera via an Ethernet cable or WiFi. To add the camera to EseeCloud, open the EseeCloud application and scroll down to the section ‘Device Management.’ Tap on ‘Add Device’ and then select your camera model. On selection, you need to enter the IP address of your camera or scan a QR code if prompted.

      Configure Camera Settings: Set the name of the camera, preference for recording, detection settings of motion.
    4. Live Viewing
      Access Live View: Switch to the ‘Live View’ tab to see real-time footage from your your camera.
      Manage Views: Customize the multi-view screen to preview multiple cameras at the same time if one has more than one camera installed.
    5. Playback and Recording
      Set up automatic recording on motion detection or continuous recording through the ‘Record Settings’.
      Playback Recorded Footage: Click on the ‘Playback’ tab to view recorded video footage. The video footage can be filtered based on the dates and cameras available on site.
    6. Set up Alerts
      You can always have your device alerting you in case of any detected motion at all times. To enable this, one has to visit the ‘Alarm Settings’ option.
    7. Mobile Access
      Download the Mobile App: Easily use it on your mobile device from anywhere remotely with the EseeCloud mobile app. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play.

      Log In on Mobile: Login with your EseeCloud account to our new mobile app.

      View Cameras: Open up live recorded footage on the cameras using a mobile device.
    8. Updating
      Check regularly to see if there is an update for software with the latest functionalities and security patches.

      Fix Issues: Browse through the in-app help section and on the official website for troubleshooting tips and support contact.

      Additional Tips: Use Always make sure your network is safe so that no possible loopholes exist for others to get unauthorized access to your camera feeds.

      Back up your recorded footage on a regular basis using an external drive or cloud storage.

      By following these steps, new users can effectively set up and start using their EseeCloud software to manage their IP cameras. It’s also advisable to explore the software to fully utilize its capabilities and customize it according to specific needs.
